Hi I’m Hans Schrynemakers - automation engineer, TIA Portal professional, and founder of plcskilltree.com

Why do some PLC programmers seem to easily create professional TIA applications and others just struggle?

If you’re a Siemens programmer who already knows the basics of TIA Portal, but wants to open the door to more exciting projects and new career opportunities, then I’ve got something special for you today.

But first let me ask you this - have you ever wondered why some PLC programmers seem to easily create professional TIA applications and others just struggle?

Is it because these PLC programmers are smarter than the rest?

From what I’ve seen there is no ideal IQ or education experience that can predict success in Siemens programming.

Is it because they have more experience?

Again, I’ve seen programmers make huge progress in a short time with the right guidance, so being experienced isn’t a must.

Or is it because they know every language in TIA Portal by heart?

Well, I can tell you from personal experience that the first time I successfully completed a major project for one of the world’s top five food producers, I knew absolutely nothing about FBD or SCL, so that clearly wasn’t a requirement.

There are 3 critical things every TIA programmer needs to be successful

Nope.

What every successful TIA programmer I know has, is deceptively simple:

A solid programming framework and a structured way of thinking.

That’s what it really comes down to.

But I know what you might be thinking…

If it were really that simple, then why don’t all TIA programmers with a solid programming framework and a structured way of thinking get to work on the kind of exciting, high-level projects they hope for?

And you're right - there is more to it.

Beyond the right framework and solid structure, there are actually three more things that successful TIA Portal programmers tend to have:

  1. A clear growth path
  2. Regular coaching
  3. And a network of other supportive PLC programmers holding them accountable and giving them new insights.

From overwhelmed rookie programmer to six-figure freelancer (because of two things)

I learned this the hard way.

When I started out as a Siemens programmer, I wasn’t confident at all. I was writing messy, unstructured code. Then came that night. 2 AM, factory floor, machine down, customer breathing down my neck. I was staring at a bunch of spaghetti logic that made zero sense. The pressure was brutal, and for the first time in my career, I seriously thought about quitting. I hated feeling lost, constantly struggling through an application without confidence, instead of actually understanding what I was doing.

But after switching jobs, two things started to change everything for me:

  • I got guidance from people who were further ahead
  • And I started to see a clear growth path for my programming

That made a huge difference.

I began to see better ways to build applications, better ways to structure code, better ways to think about reuse, modularity, and long-term maintainability.

And once that shift happened, everything started to change. I became faster, more confident and far more capable of handling larger, more advanced Siemens projects.

That growth eventually gave me the confidence to build a highly successful freelance business that now generates well over six figures a year.

And on top of that, learning from people who were further ahead helped me avoid a huge amount of unnecessary trial and error.

It’s amazing what being able to directly ask ONE simple question to someone who is multiple steps ahead of you can do to catapult you forward in your journey.

The more my programming skills grew, the more alone I felt

Over the years, the powerful combination of coaching + a clear growth path led to a lot more exciting projects, but I knew I was missing something else.

Something critical: community.

The more my programming skills grew, the more alone I felt.

And because I’m naturally more introverted, I usually prefer to just keep my head down and get on with the work. But there were still plenty of moments of doubt, frustration, and second guessing. Times when I wished I could talk to someone who actually understood what it’s like to work through messy code, and real-world PLC challenges.

Or even better, I wanted someone to celebrate my successes with who wouldn’t think I was bragging.

So I started connecting with other Siemens programmers who were on a similar path.

And that changed a lot.

For the first time, I felt like I was part of something bigger. Like I didn’t have to figure everything out alone, even though I was still working independently.

Fast forward to today, I’m grateful that I now get to teach this stuff to awesome people like you, and even built a super helpful course called TIA Portal - PLC Programming Basics that teaches my model philosophy of structured programming step by step.

But there was something missing...

I can’t tell you the number of people who have messaged me asking for one-on-one coaching.

These are people who HAVE my course or already work professionally with TIA Portal, but they just aren’t seeing the results they want.

Add to that the fact that many of my students feel they just need a bit of accountability to get their stuff done!

I’ve seen this firsthand with students who told me that the material was helpful, but what they were really missing was the push that comes from being part of a group or community of like-minded Siemens programmers.

So I decided to do something about it...

Introducing...

My private monthly TIA Portal coaching program is designed to help you take your Siemens programming skills from where they are today to a level that opens the door to more exciting projects and new career opportunities.

The TIA Mastery Coaching Community is made up of 3 key components

  • A private online community of like minded Siemens programmers
  • Live Q&A coaching calls with me
  • And monthly masterclasses on topics like modular programming, troubleshooting strategies, motion, practical real-world examples, and advanced programming concepts.

With the ongoing support of me as your TIA Portal coach, an encouraging community of like-minded people who are serious about becoming better Siemens programmers, and relevant new training each and every month with the masterclasses, you’ll finally have the support system you need to grow your skills, build more structured and scalable PLC software, and create better opportunities for yourself as a programmer.

PLC programming is a lonely pursuit.

Even though there’s a lot of people teaching content out there, sometimes the hardest thing is staying motivated to build your own path. That’s why I’ve created this.

In this community we are like family, we leave no one behind.

If you’ve been through a bunch of Siemens courses before and still haven’t followed through on becoming a better, more confident PLC programmer - this will help you.

Sometimes it can even be the small things that can throw you off as an aspiring professional.

Questions like: “How should I structure communication between PLCs? I’m just overwhelmed” or “How do I troubleshoot this frequency drive? Where do I even start?”

What if you had a private, tight knit community of friendly programmers you could ask?

That’s why The TIA Mastery Coaching Community exists.

Access to the exclusive TIA Mastery Community ($250 value)

Have a question? Get an answer!

This online community is built like a Facebook group, but without the annoying ads, distractions, and trolls that tend to infiltrate free Facebook groups or other forums.

This is where conversations are happening each and every day and where you’ll find me hanging out on the regular, answering questions and encouraging you.

But it’s not just me it’s the rest of the community.

You’ll have access to a wider circle of brilliant, encouraging, and motivated Siemens programmers just like you who actually want to cheer you on and help YOU achieve your goals.

Monthly Q&A webinars with me ($500 value)

Get the coaching you need every month...

Once a month, I’ll be holding a live Q&A group coaching call where you’ll be able to ask me any questions you have related to your TIA Portal projects.

And if you can’t make the timing because you’re busy or due to timezone issues, don’t worry.

I’ll be recording every single call and uploading it onto the members area, and you’ll also be able to send in your questions beforehand.

A growing catalog of TIA Portal masterclass trainings ($750 value)

New trainings every month...

Each month, I upload a brand-new video training focused on helping you grow your TIA Portal skills and create better career opportunities.

These masterclasses cover topics like troubleshooting strategies, advanced real-world examples, and how to build modular, standardized software. Some of them also include downloadable sample applications and supporting documents so you can apply what you learn more easily.

Think of these masterclasses as mini online courses, and as a TIA Mastery Coaching Community member you will have an ever growing vault of video trainings that you can tap into whenever you need them.

In essence, each month you are a member, your membership becomes even more valuable!

So you might be wondering, how much does the TIA Mastery Coaching Community cost...

To get access to a curated, private community of like-minded people, I’ve personally paid over $6,500 a year.

Heck, even a 3-day Siemens seminar where you get to learn alongside other programmers starts at $2,500.

And people who work one-on-one with me start at $150/hour.

Add to that an ever-growing library of relevant trainings easily worth $100 each, and you can see that the value of this community is crazy high.

But I wanted to make this a no-brainer deal for you and truly accessible for PLC programmers who are serious about growing, so check this out.

You won’t pay $6,500 a year. You won’t even pay $2,500.

If you join this week before membership closes you can get access to all this coaching for just $47/mo
(Early Bird Founders Rate)

Since this is a brand new community I want to honor you for joining as one of my founders. SO...if you join before the doors close this Wednesday May 6th at 11:59pm CET, you can lock in my "Early Bird Founders" rate of 50% off what everyone else will pay in the future when I re-open it. BONUS
The Project Libraries 101 Course ($450 Value)

But because I truly want to help you become a better Siemens programmer, I’m going to sweeten the deal. When you join today I’m going to throw in access to my brand-new course called Project Libraries 101.

Project Libraries 101 is a streamlined and focused online video course designed to help you build more structured, modular, and scalable PLC applications in Siemens TIA Portal.

Instead of copy-pasting blocks and fighting messy projects later, this course shows you how to create reusable, version-controlled components that are easier to maintain as your software grows.

It’s all about making better use of the software you already have and stopping the cycle of duplicated code and inconsistent standards.

The course is broken up into 8 short and focused training videos, each with practical explanations so you can immediately apply what you learn to real PLC projects. It also includes a sample application, supporting documents, and an assignment to help you put the concepts into practice.

And because this course is brand-new, it’s not for sale anywhere else.

This course is valued at $450 but it’s yours completely free when you join the TIA Mastery Coaching Community today!

Here’s a little taste of what you’ll learn inside the course:

  • How to stop copy-pasting PLC blocks and start building reusable, version-controlled software
  • The difference between Global Libraries, Project Libraries, Types, and Master Copies and when to use each one
  • How to create your own Library Types in TIA Portal from existing PLC blocks and data types
  • How to reuse standardized blocks across multiple PLC applications without losing structure
  • How to update a block in one central place and push those changes across your project
  • How to handle dependent types like UDTs when building reusable library structures

So here’s what you’re getting today when you join the TIA Mastery Coaching Community:

  • Access to the exclusive TIA Mastery Community ($250 value)
  • Monthly Q&A webinars with me ($500 value)
  • A growing catalog of TIA Portal masterclass trainings ($750 value)
  • The Project Library 101 course that teaches you how to standardize blocks without wasting time on duplicate logic ($450 value)

Total value for all of this amazing training = $1,950

Before you make your decision...

There has never been a better time to be a professional Siemens programmer.

Siemens is one of the global leaders in industrial automation, and its technology is used across machine builders, factories, and production plants all over the world. Siemens says it is “#1 in industrial software and automation”, and that 33% of machines worldwide run on a Siemens controller.

That means strong TIA Portal skills can open the door to all kinds of real-world opportunities: building software for machine builders, supporting production lines in factories, improving processes in plants, and helping customers solve practical automation problems that actually matter.

But sometimes it's not that simple.

Sometimes more "knowledge" and online courses aren't the thing we need to actually get results.

Coaching and community are usually the missing piece.

And from all the emails and messages I get requesting one-on-one coaching I can see that it's true among many PLC programmers like you.

That's why I created this group - to hold your hand and help you along your journey. You don't have to be on this journey alone!

Heck, I don't think you SHOULD grow it alone.

These next 12 months could be your best yet if you are willing to dive in with me and the rest of the TIA Mastery Coaching Community.

We're here to help you - and we know you have a lot to bring to the table as well.

Hope to have you as my newest member!

P.S. Don’t forget that when you join Hans's TIA Mastery Coaching Community you are joining risk-free. You have an entire 30 days to dive into the community, come to a live Q&A call, watch all the included training content, and take action on all that you learned and THEN decide if it’s right for you.

See you on the inside...

-Hans Schrynemakers
